NACHS is pleased to invite you to represent your Clan, Society or Organization at the eleventh annual Arizona Highland Celtic Festival, Saturday and Sunday, July 19 and 20, 2008 at Foxglenn Park, 4200 East Butler Avenue, Flagstaff, AZ 86004, in the cool mountain air with breathtaking views of the San Francisco Peaks. 

 

Applications must be received by July 1, 2008 for your organization to be listed in the program.  Please PRINT all information LEGIBLY.

We are renting weights to stabilize your canopy as a service to you and as a fund raising project for a local charity. As many weights as you need are available for the nominal fee of $15. Upon your arrival, pick up your weights (your name will be on a list), and, after breakdown, just leave the weights at your space. Order your rental weights on the form below.

Hold Harmless / Waiver - this must be included with your application

 

I, ____________________________________, who will act as the Representative of

 

_____________________________________ at the Arizona Highland Celtic Festival do understand and agree that I will hold the said Event and its insurance carrier harmless in the event that I, personally, suffer any injury or accident during the performance of my duties as Representative.  I also understand that this waiver applies ONLY to me personally and not to any other Clan Society member who may be providing information within the confines of the clan tent area, nor to any member of the General Public who may be injured or suffer any accident within this same area.

 

I agree that I will underwrite any medical costs or other costs related to my injury or accident personally and/or in conjunction with my personal insurance carrier, and that in accordance with this waiver, I will not file a claim against the Northern Arizona Celtic Heritage Society, or their insurance carrier at some later date for such injury or accident.

 

I acknowledge that this Hold Harmless / Waiver applies only to my activities within my clan or society tent.  When I am attending other events or activities during the Festival, I will be treated like any other member of the General Public.

Foxglenn Park is a City of Flagstaff facility and as such, we are subject to strict regulations:

 

  1. NO pets will be allowed.
  2. NO stakes are to be driven into the ground.  All canopies MUST be secured with the use of weights.
  3. Neither alcohol nor weapons may be brought onto the site. Alcohol will be sold at the event.
  4. You may sell clan or society specific items for your organization only. Remember that you are not a vendor and have not paid a vendor fee, so we must be respectful of our vendors.
  5. Ice will be available at $4.00 per 20 pound bag. Please be prepared to pay the “Ice Man” for each bag as you receive it.

 

Set Up and Tear Down

 

  1. Set up will be between 12pm and 5pm on Friday or between 7am and 9am Saturday.
  2. Tear down must be after 4:00 PM on Sunday

 

 

 

CLAN & SOCIETY CONTEST

 

Because we value your participation in our Festival, we are having a contest for the area with the best presentation, information and friendliness!  The contest does not count the size of the area or the number of people involved, so you could have the smallest display with just one person in charge.  The prize is $50 cash! GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE … AND KEEP UP THE SPIRIT!

 

… and one last thing:  in keeping with the spirit of the event we ask you to police your area for trash and to please leave your area at least as clean as when you arrived.  This will help us tremendously in our clean up efforts.  THANK YOU so much for your participation in our event.
