Our hopes were high thinking we could somehow pull off a small event celebrating our Celtic heritage, but, alas it is not possible. Please join us on July 17 & 18, 2021 for the next Arizona Highland Celtic Festival. In the meantime, watch for information on our virtual Tea with Diana Gabaldon coming in October!!!!! Stay well! About NACHSTo our Celtic community, be safe, be well. We plan to overcome this tragic pandemic like only Celts can, and celebrate Celtic style at the Jim Thomson US School of Piping & Drumming AND the Arizona Highland Celtic Festival this July!!! Jude McKenzie's tune written and performed by Robert Watt.
NACHS was founded in 1997. The Northern Arizona Celtic Heritage Society is dedicated to presenting, promoting, and preserving Celtic culture. Our goal is to educate the public about the heritage, language, traditions, art, and history of the Celtic people both ancient and modern. Dissemination of information and financial assistance to support Celtic-related events and opportunities is also a prime purpose of NACHS. We are a non-profit, 501 (C)3 Corporation. 2020 Officers

NACHS has meetings on the first Tuesday of each month starting at 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome! Through the Covid19 pandemic, we will be hosting the meetings virtually instead of in person. If you would like to attend the meetings, please send an email toinformation@nachs.info and we will get you a link. Upcoming Events January 31, 2021 - Virtual Robert Burns Supper- 2:00 pm MST. Join us for a virtual celebration of the Scottish poet Robert Burns on Facebook. There will be toasts, piping, poetry and haggis! If you are local, Uptown Pub is selling 2-ounce drams to go! To get us all drinking the same richness of peat and brininess, we’ll be selling Ardbeg An Oa vials to-go (2 ounces: i.e.: a hefty dram) for $8 each. The Ardbeg distillery on Islay is considered one of the peatiest producers of Scotch. It’s also a loamy, earthy type of peat that makes me feels like I’m standing on the island itself (especially after a few). It’s the closest distilled whisky that we can get at this time to where Robert Burns was born in Alloway. We’ll also have numerous other bottles of whiskies available to-go as well. In the past, we’ve had hundreds to choose from, but 2020 put a wee hurting on our overall inventory. We’ll do our best to find you something to get in the proper spirit of things. You can watch the Robert Burns Supper here. 2020 Festival has been cancelled. CELTIC FESTIVAL
